CICLO is a mobile app for wellness and routine organization built with a local-first approach: it works without an account and stores information primarily on your device. This Privacy Policy explains what information is handled, where it is stored, and what control you have over it.

1) Scope

This Policy applies to the CICLO mobile app and this informational webpage. CICLO may be available for download in multiple countries.

2) Information we handle (and what we do not collect)

What we do NOT collect in the current version of CICLO:

  • We do not require registration or an account.
  • We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or other direct identifiers to use the app.
  • We do not build advertising profiles.
  • We do not sell data.
  • We do not perform ad tracking (e.g., tracking across apps or websites).
  • We do not share data with third parties for advertising.

What is stored locally because you use it in the app

CICLO stores on your device the information needed for the app to function, for example:

  • Routines, schedules, and reminders.
  • In-app activity logs (for example: completed, snoozed, or omitted according to the app’s rules).
  • Inventory or quantities related to your routines (if applicable).
  • App preferences and settings.

Important: Names you choose for routines or products may include sensitive information (for example, medication names or conditions). CICLO does not use that information to identify you and does not send it to our servers: it is kept locally on your device.

3) Where your data is stored

CICLO stores information on your device (for example, in an internal local database).
We do not upload your routines, logs, or inventory to developer-operated servers.

System backups (iCloud / Google Backup)

If you have system backups enabled (such as iCloud on iOS or Android backups), your device may include CICLO data in those backups.
These backups are managed by the operating system provider and by you, not by CICLO. You can control them in your device settings.

4) Notifications

CICLO uses local notifications to show reminders on your device.
You can enable or disable notifications at any time in your system settings and /or in the app settings.

5) Analytics, advertising and third parties

CICLO does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs in the current version.
We do not use your data for personalized advertising or tracking.

If we add usage metrics or other features that change this approach in the future, we will update this Policy and the privacy information shown in app stores.

6) International availability

CICLO may be downloaded globally. Because data remains on your device and we do not transfer it to our servers, CICLO does not independently perform international transfers of your data. However, if your operating system performs backups (for example, iCloud), any such transfers depend on your device settings and the operating system provider.

7) Data retention and deletion

CICLO keeps your information as long as it exists on your device.
You can delete it by:

  • Deleting routines/logs within the app, and/or
  • Uninstalling CICLO, which typically removes associated local app data.

If your device maintains backups, those backups may retain information until overwritten or deleted through your system settings.

8) Your rights and control

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights related to access, correction, or deletion. Because CICLO stores information locally and not on our servers, the primary way to exercise control is through the app and your device.

9) Children´s privacy

CICLO is not directed to children without supervision. We do not seek to collect personal information from children.

10) Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy to reflect product changes (for example: sync, accounts, backend services, analytics, or integrations). We will publish the current version on this page and update the “Last updated” date.
